Generation of Thermal Energy

Co-generation means creation of electricity and thermal energy via a single supply of fuel such as natural gas. It may also refer to utilizing an energy station or heat engine to constantly generate useful heat and electricity.

Thermal generators which are also referred to as cogeneration plants are installed in the industries. The fuel is required twice for making the task practical. The plant includes an engine and a combustion turbine which pushes the electrical generator.
